The need to fulfill the citizens and organization demands through the Internet constitutes an important challenge for every Public Authority. The delivery of services to the citizens, relieved from location or time constraints, is a very important issue for Public Administration. In Greece, important steps towards the direction of Electronic Governance have been taken and there already exist various portals that provide information, distribute application forms and perform 4th level transactions. However, great effort is still required for the complete automation of transactions, including the enforcement of Greek e-Government Interoperability Framework, that will enable easy Government 2 Government transactions.
